Vivian Evelyn Robertson

Vivian Evelyn Robertson passed away on November 21, 2011 of natural causes at her home in Baton Rouge, at the age of 88. Born in 1923 and a native of Tickfaw, she spent most of her life in New Orleans where she worked in administration at the Jung Hotel for over 25 years and, subsequently, moved to Baton Rouge. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Emogene Robertson, Bunkie and Dorothy "Dot" Cedotal Robertson, Zachary; three nephews and wives, Jimmy and Dee Robertson, Elk Grove, CA., Mike and Rose Anna Neal Robertson, Bunkie, and Danny and Penni Cain Cedotal, Zachary; one sister, Shirley Milton, Tickfaw; 10 grandnieces and grandnephews, Michael, James, Amy and Mechelle Robertson, Shaunn Robertson Harris, D.J. and Charlie Cedotal, Tommee and Ede Cicoria and Eve Hughes; and six great-grandnieces, Kristina and Katelyn Harris, Kassandra, Brittany and Savanna Hughes and Lexee Simmons. Vivian Robertson is preceded in death by her parents, Percy James Sr. and Ruby Lee Jackson Robertson; her brother Percy J. Robertson, Jr.; and an aunt and uncle, Ray and Edna Robertson.

Visitation will be held at Bayou Rouge Baptist Church, Evergreen, on November 26 at 10:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am and the internment at the church cemetery. Reverend Bill Housley will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy, Mike, and Michael Robertson, Josh and Shaunn Robertson Harris, and Scotty P. Dauzat. Honorary Pallbearers are Danny, D.J., and Charlie Cedotal.
