Funeral services for Sheri Michelle Payne will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Union Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Old Union Baptist Cemetery in Joyce, LA under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Ms. Payne, age 45, of Alexandria, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie L. Payne.

Survivors include her father, George E. Payne, Sr. of Alexandria; her brother, George Payne and wife, Evonne, of Alexandria; three nephews, Justin Payne of Alexandria, Johnathan Payne of Alexandria and Brandon Cason of Centerpoint and two nieces, Katlyn Payne and Jackie Payne of Alexandria.

Visitation will be at the Union Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 from 9 a.m. until service time.
